Situated in the quiet town of Romsey just North of Melbourne, Soltan Pepper was established in 2005 by Adam Soltan and his wife Melanie and earned its reputation for amazing meals and great service. In April 2024, Friendship trio Mark Jamar, Amritpal and Taj Sagoo took the reigns at Soltan Pepper from Adam and Melanie with an unwavering passion and commitment to serving quality food in a relaxing atmosphere with the menu constantly evolving to suit what the locals want to eat.

Soltan Pepper is now a well-known name and people come from far and wide to join their Macedon Ranges family members at their favourite local haunt.

Soltan Pepper is a place for all, where everyone is welcome and their needs come first.

Story Of Soltan Pepper: 118 Main Street, Romsey was originally a family home owned by many families over the years. In 2000 it was remodelled to house “Martin’s Wine Bar”, then “Martins”, “EssJais” and “Confuzion Food”.

In August 2005, Adam Soltan with his wife Melanie created the beginnings of “Soltan Pepper”.

In April 2024, Friendship trio Mark Jamar, Amritpal and Taj Sagoo took the reigns at Soltan Pepper.

Eat Together

Our beautiful restaurant is housed in an early Australian building that is warm and has that comfortable, loved feeling you get when you set foot inside a friend’s home. This feeling carries through to the small friendly team of staff who cater unobtrusively to every need their guests have.

This place exists for them as much as for the locals who dine here.
